LES ALTÉRATIONS DIGITALES

Graphiste créatif depuis plus de 20 ans, j’ai expérimenté différentes techniques artistiques à l’aube des années 2000 : peinture sur carton marouflé, dessin « froissé », collage et technique mixte.

J’ai évolué ensuite vers le numérique afin de m’aventurer délibérément en terre inconnue, faisant mienne cette phrase de Joan Miro « il faut tuer la peinture pour y revenir d’une autre manière ».
Au cœur de ce nouveau médium, papier, pierre, peinture, sculpture, fer, transparences et éléments graphiques fusionnent, s’entremêlent et s’entrechoquent, forgeant un vocabulaire visuel singulier et hybride. Le « collage digital » permet en effet de mélanger différents genres artistiques et ainsi d’explorer de nouvelles interprétations du monde.

L’accélération effrénée de l’histoire, le périssable institutionnalisé, réduit le passé à l’état de simple palimpseste. Quand l’économie capitaliste néo-libérale prend le pas sur l’humanité, l’individu est-il encore capable de s’adapter ? C’est la mesure de ce désordre que mon travail décèle. C’est dans la portée de cette forme d’entropie qu’il se révèle.

DIGITAL ALTERATIONS

Creative graphic designer for over 20 years, I experimented with different artistic techniques at the dawn of the 2000s: painting on cardboard marouflé, drawing « crumpled », collage and mixed technique.

I then moved to digital to deliberately venture into unknown territory, making this sentence Joan Miro « you have to kill the painting to come back in another way. »
At the heart of this new medium, paper, stone, paint, sculpture, iron, transparencies and graphic elements merge, intertwine and collide, forging a singular and hybrid visual vocabulary. The « digital collage » makes it possible to mix different artistic genres and thus to explore new interpretations of the world.

The unbridled acceleration of history, the institutionalized perishable, reduces the past to the state of simple palimpsest. When the neo-liberal capitalist economy takes precedence over humanity, is the individual still able to adapt? It is the measure of this disorder that my work reveals. It is within the scope of this form of entropy that he reveals himself.
